Pyoderma gangrenosum. Case report
Keywords:
pyoderma gangrenosum, diagnosisAbstract
Introducción: pyoderma gangrenosum is an acute or chronic debilitating skin disease. It is an alteration with a wide spectrum in terms of its presentation. Its low frequency means that few cases are reported. There are very few reports regarding this disease with aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.Patient information: a 38 year-old white female patient with a previous health history presented symptoms of pyoderma gangrenosum after a skin graft at the right leg level, with favorable evolution after the established treatment and without recurrence of the disease.
Conclusions: the interesting aspect of the case is that it shows the skin lesions observed in this rare disease after a skin graft; early diagnosis and timely treatment are important to prevent the progression of the disease.
