The tutor as a dynamic axis in the training of the Family Medicine Physician

The implementation of new measures by the Cuban government to improve and restructure the various primary care facilities aligns with current socio-economic and educational demands and with the strategies established by the National Health System. This requires fulfilling vital elements inextricably linked to this process, such as improving the quality of healthcare services, promoting research and innovation in the health sector, and transforming the teaching and learning process, in which adequate undergraduate training and continuing postgraduate professional development are priorities.
