Abstract

A number of shortcomings were identified as part of the final product of a research project entitled "Alternative methodologies for improving the acquisition of professional skills in the Internal Medicine residents of the Arnaldo Milian Castro Provincial University Hospital. It led to the design a web site called ”The internist web” to provide the residents a number of useful tools in their training, such as an updated bibliography, online course on electrocardiogram, image gallery, gallery of interesting cases and clinicopathologic reports, as well as important information for the development of the residence.
