Comparative study of mortality in patients with solcial problems. First quarter of 2010-2011
Keywords:
social problems/trends, data analysis, mortalityAbstract
This work was done by comparing data from patients with social problems who died in the first quarter of 2010 and 2011. The data were obtained through the internal register that is kept by the Social Work Department, taking into account the age group, sex, place of origin and the medical services in which those patients died, as well as the diagnostic impression on admission. In both years, the deceased were mainly males in the age group of 81 to 90 years, and the most affected service was Geriatrics. In 2010, of 24 hospitalized patients 11 died, and in 2011 the totality of hospitalized patients (nine) died.Downloads
