Squamous cell carcinoma of the penis. Apropos of a case
Keywords:
carcinoma, squamous cell/diagnosis, penis/surgeryAbstract
It is presented a report on a patient who was operated years ago from a squamous cell carcinoma of the penis and who apparently had a delayed relapse. It raised doubts as to its origin, because it could be a new primary tumor or a relapse. A new tumor of the same histological type was finally diagnosed, but on another location far from the first location. The importance of monitoring this type of tumor after conservative surgery is summarized because of the potential long-term relapse.Downloads
