Abstract

The use of oral piercing is a common practice that can become a public health problem; unfortunately many young people who use them do not know of such adverse effects that may result. It is informed about this patient in order to illustrate the damages that they can cause and motivate to health professionals to make a proper education with patients that propitiate behaviors and life styles favoring a better quality of life.
