Introduction: Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas are malignant neoplasms derived from cellular components of the immune system, in particular, lymphocytes and their precursors, and constitute a very heterogeneous group, with wide clinicobiological, prognostic and therapeutic differences. Objective: to characterize the patients treated in the Multidisciplinary Lymphomas Consultation of the Celestino Hernández Robau Hospital. Method: a descriptive and cross-sectional investigation was conducted in adult patients of Villa Clara province, during a period from January 1rst, 2014 to December 31st, 2015. Results: a total of 81 cases were evaluated, with a predominance of ages older and equal to 60 years, male and white skin color, as personal pathological history, patients with arterial hypertension predominated, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma was more frequent than Hodgkin lymphoma, within the histological varieties of Hodgkin's Lymphoma nodular sclerosis appears, while for non-Hodgkin's Lymphomas the large cells diffuse occupies the first place, the stage with the highest number of patients is IIA and IIIB for both types of lymphomas (this is associated with the greatest number of patients presented symptoms B), the elapsed time from the onset of symptoms until the diagnosis was greater than three months, and complete remission to treatment predominated in both pathologies. Conclusions: Lymphomas have a high morbidity in adults of Villa Clara province.Downloads
