Demographic variables were studied, fact triggers were specified and personal psychiatric history and methods were identified. The study population is 75 patients and for selection probability sampling was used. The information was obtained by reviewing medical records and data from the Department of Statistics. It was concluded that the suicide attempt is a procedure used more and more frequently by the population in general, but particularly young people, due to inadequate coping mechanisms to problems and the easy access to the methods used for this purpose; psychiatric history may or may not be present.Downloads
