Abstract

Introduction: a pseudolymphoma is a benign, reversible, inflammatory, reactive and polyclonal lymphocytic proliferation that spontaneously regresses or heals after the elimination of the causal factor.
Patient information: the case of an 80-year-old female patient with disseminated, erythematous, pruritic skin lesions in the form of plaques and wheals associated with periorbital edema and pruritus is presented. The patient also presented target lesions simulating erythema multiforme. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical findings were compatible with a cutaneous pseudolymphoma, variant plasmacytosis cutis.
Conclusions: this is an infrequent disease, of which no cases were reported in Cuba.
