Acupunctural surgical analgesia in the cataract surgery with intraocular lens

A total of 200 patients suffering cataract received intraocular lens implant, using acupuncture as analgesic procedure in 100 of them. Conventional analgesia techniques were performed in the rest. Blood pressure and cardiac rate were stable in the former group. The trans- and post-operatory phases showed better results in this group in comparison to the conventional analgesia.Downloads
