Abstract

This work shows the partial results of a clinicopathological project investigation. In it, we make a review of the anatomopathological changes observed in the trabecular meshwork of patients suffering from primary open angle glaucoma who underwent a trabeculectomy as a therapeutic measure. The sclerosis of the trabecular meshwork was found to be the most significant change in those patients and it is related with the degree of seriousness of glaucoma.
