Aneurysm of the renal artery: apropos of a case
Keywords:
aortic aneurysm, abdominal, nephrectomy, treatment outcomeAbstract
The case of a patient with a history of arterial hypertension, who presents an episode of hematuria, is reported here. After some tests, it was decided to perform a surgical intervention due to the presumptive diagnosis of a renal tumor. During the intervention the existence of a renal artery aneurysm was determined and a nephrectomy was carried out. During the postoperative period the patient showed a favorable evolution; the symptoms disappeared and the arterial tension returned to normal without medications. The patient is currently followed-up at The Urology Consulting Room.Downloads
