The hypertrophy of the labia minora is a rare disease that can occur at any age, but it is most frequently observed during puberty. Sometimes, the hypertrophy is so big that it not only causes local disorders, but may hamper sexual relations and can also trigger serious problems of behavior. The case of an adolescent with bilateral asymmetric hypertrophy of the labia minora, who underwent labiaplasty, is reported. There were no immediate complications, and her recovery was satisfactory from a clinical and psychological standpoint.Downloads
