Fibrous dysplasia polyostotic. Apropos of a patient

Fibrous dysplasia is a benign fibro-osseous condition consisting of the substitution of bone tissue for fibrous tissue; it is considered a benign pseudotumoral lesion of the skeleton and it is usually asymptomatic. It is preseted a female patient of 47 years with fibrous dysplasia, polyostotic variety, bone disease less frequent. The simple imaging studies and the computerized axial tomography scan, because of its wealth of findings allowed the diagnosis, which was confirmed by pathologic examination.
